Chapter 17 contains the longest recorded prayer of Jesus. His prayer comes right after He finishes His final instructions to the disciples before He is betrayed and arrested. Jesus prays for Himself, His disciples, and for all believers. This prayer is commonly called Jesus’ High Priestly Prayer.
